Mirendil debuts Fern, its first model with a 10M-token context window

Newcomer Mirendil has introduced Fern, its first model, pretrained from scratch with a context window of up to 10 million tokens. The initial release, Fern 0.1, received a short round of post-training.
Use cases cited include fitting an entire repository (or several) into context, letting agents work for days without hitting compaction limits, and consolidating the outputs of multiple agents. The team says there is much more work to do and invites ideas for using a 10M-token window.
