Anthropic has filed an S-1 registration statement with the SEC for its proposed IPO. Per figures cited by SemiAnalysis: as of June 30, 2026, the company had raised $141.1B in aggregate capital, holding $112.4B in cash and equivalents plus $19.3B in short-term investments.
That implies only $9.7B net burned to date while growing rapidly and already profitable on an operating income basis in the June quarter — which SemiAnalysis calls possibly the most efficient scaling of a business in the history of capitalism.
