Anthropic files S-1: $11.6B quarterly revenue, 5.2x compute efficiency gain
annbordetsky · x · 2026-10-26
Anthropic has filed its S-1 with the SEC, and the disclosed charts show: quarterly revenue growing from $0.4B in Q1'25 to $11.6B in Q2'26; compute and infrastructure spend rising from $0.9B to $5.6B over the same period; and revenue per dollar of compute improving 5.2x, from 0.40x to 2.08x.
The latest quarter finally shows revenue clearly outpacing compute costs. As commentators note, this S-1 may set a high bar for how capital markets evaluate AI startups, with compute efficiency emerging as the core metric.
