Per a Washington Post exclusive shared in the post, Cathedral — an AI red-team startup founded by ex-DOGE staffers — told Anthropic that its researchers penetrated sensitive systems and accessed a batch of sensitive documents in just 12 hours. A quoted reply notes the access came via a third-party SaaS provider Anthropic uses, not a direct breach of Anthropic's own infrastructure, highlighting supply-chain security weaknesses at major AI labs.
