Thread: Endgame is agents rewriting all software, specialist models dying to generalists

RT of @jsnnsa's long-form thesis on where the world is heading:
- Software will be either entertainment or Claude-to-Claude coordination; the end state has no SaaS, no apps, no harnesses, no banks
- All software gets rewritten by and for agents, using low-level APIs humans can't parse (Claude draws pixels and triangles from raw math in games)
- Compute will mostly stop being scarce, so specialist image/video/3D/voice models die to general models like Claude
- Capital matters more than ever: problems that once required time and careful talent-picking can now be solved by throwing money at them
- Work ends; humans find community, purpose, and status in exploration, games, self-mastery, and creation
