Google auto-converts one-off searches into AI Mode conversations, users frustrated

A Reddit user reports that Google now saves single-query traditional searches (e.g. "Flag of Panama") as AI Mode conversations, cluttering AI Mode history. Disabling "Search services history" in myactivity also deletes real AI Mode chats — there's no way to stop the conversion alone.
