Dual Exam benchmark finds multimodal agents and world models perform unevenly, success not coupled
Zhefan Rao · hf · 2026-10-26
Dual Exam is a controlled benchmark from HKUST and collaborators (HKU, NUS, CMU, Stanford, etc.) that evaluates multimodal agents and world models separately across diverse domains.
Pilot tests reveal uneven performance and no coupled success between the two: strength in one does not imply strength in the other, offering a controlled tool to probe whether agents truly contain world models.
