CISO takeaway: deploy AI to watch AI deployments — humans can't be the last line of defense

Reacting to a week of internet-facing software vulnerabilities, repo security issues and concerning agent behavior, @nikesharora argues no single solution fixes enterprise IT/security: as models get more capable, vulnerabilities are found faster, but fragmented remediation efforts prevent comprehensive find-and-replace.
@amnigos distilled the CIO/CISO advice: "deploy a second set of eyes to watch your deployments for drift, compliance and verifiability." Human bandwidth can't remain the last line of defense. Hybrid patching and modern SOAR only work if the IT service management layer underneath can coordinate, verify and remediate at AI speed without introducing new risk from new grants, approvals and changes — a capacity most teams lack, which is the gap an "AI workforce for enterprise IT and security" aims to fill.
