Hobbyist gives StackChan robot agentic skills via Grok and Hermes-Agent, teaching it to read scripts

A StackChan desktop robot enthusiast showed off their "Nous Girl" bot performing a tribute act. By wiring in Grok's bot and Nous Research's Hermes-Agent, they keep adding new skills to the M5Stack-based robot — most recently teaching it to read lines from a JSON-formatted script, joking about "robot actors." They plan to try a more emotionally expressive voice model next. The build involves M5Stack, Hugging Face and pollenrobotics, inspired by Rémi Fabre's videos.
