Kitebook: self-hosted open-source MCP server lets AI assistants hand off work to each other
ChainEnough5654 · reddit · 2026-10-26
Kitebook (v0.0.1, open source) is a self-hosted MCP server acting as a shared knowledge base across daily AI assistants: they exchange notes, files, and handoffs so one can pick up where another left off. It can also dispatch repo tasks to Codex or Claude Code on your Mac — knowledge that lives outside git plus task dispatch. Early and buggy; the author is soliciting honest feedback at github.com/um1b/kitebook.
