Grok Bot hands-on: auto-logs hundreds of tasks to Linear and runs scheduled security checks
koltregaskes · x · 2026-10-26
A user shares a hands-on impression of Grok Bot, arguing its speed and execution set it apart from other personal AI assistants:
- Task management: asked Grok to track every task ever raised in their conversations — it found hundreds and bulk-added them to Linear, with a loop system to work through them.
- Scheduled automations: multiple schedules running, including security checks that scan news for vulnerabilities, keep the cloud machine updated, and alert other agents, Linear, and Todoist.
- Responsiveness: fast replies that deliver finished results instead of stalling on "verifying"; it can spin up sub-agents quickly.
- Quirk: voice setup isn't available on Android and must be done via web.
The author concludes speed is what xAI has been optimizing for years, and other personal AI products should take note.
