Columnist Michael Robinson tested Starlink WiFi on a Southwest flight over the Sierra Nevada: he streamed Netflix directly and measured 408 Mbps down with Ookla — about 30% faster than the median US household broadband, most of which is hardwired. Southwest expects to complete a fleetwide Starlink rollout by fall 2027, becoming the first major airline fully equipped with it.
