Reddit user replaces Claude Project Notes with auto-updating Artifacts as project memory
Renovatius · reddit · 2026-10-25
A Reddit user shared a workaround for Claude's Projects: tired of manually deleting old project notes and re-uploading docs after each chat, they asked Claude to create a dedicated Artifact that serves as living project notes.
After completing each task, they instruct Claude to update the notes with what changed and the new status quo, so every new chat starts already up to speed. The author asks whether this is bad practice and what downsides it may have.
