prime-agent vs Claude Code: fast main agent orchestrating subagents beats raw speed
samsja19 · x · 2026-10-25
samsja19 explains why he prefers prime-agent over Claude Code: it always spawns subagents to do the actual work, while the main agent is a very fast coordinator whose job is responding to the user and talking to the swarm. In a follow-up he adds that "ultra-fast endpoints" are a psyop for most users—workloads are bounded by environment execution rather than inference speed; what users want is constant interaction with the main agent.
