Feeding 4MP MOSS-Image frames into local MiniMax H3 I2V locks textures with zero sliding
AxonkaiLab · reddit · 2026-10-25
Following up on a 4MP MOSS-Image (5B) generation post, the author tested those raw outputs in a local MiniMax H3 image-to-video pipeline on an RTX PRO 6000, rendering 3s clips with simple 3–4 word prompts controlling only expression/attitude.
Despite expecting morphing, results surprised them:
- Suede jacket texture, skin pores, chains, tweed fabric, and thin glasses frames stayed completely locked with no texture sliding
- The model respected a stylized elongated neck anatomy in the second clip instead of force-correcting it to standard human proportions during motion
- Native 4MP micro-textures made a massive difference in detail retention and temporal consistency
The base-image workflow is the standard built-in ComfyUI MOSS template, making it reproducible.
