Anthropic's Frontier Red Team blog details work with TheoremLabs using Claude to prove security properties across 100+ real-world open-source libraries in a few weeks — a task historically infeasible at scale. Formal methods researcher Ilya Sergey calls it a historic moment but notes the limits: single-entry (non-API) specs, huge proofs, and copy-and-adapt reuse; compositional reasoning and modular abstractions are needed for FM to scale further.
