CapCut plugin coming to ChatGPT: describe edits in chat, early access on desktop now

At CapCut World, CapCut announced its plugin is coming soon to ChatGPT. Users describe their edit intent in ChatGPT — upbeat music for a travel ad, readable captions, well-timed transitions, product-fitting filters for UGC clips — and work with CapCut Web's video editor to produce the video.
- Early access is available via ChatGPT desktop (PC), or via the plugin icon in CapCut Web's editor
- Mobile and web support expected mid-November
- CapCut and OpenAI, alongside leading creators, explored new AI-era video creation workflows at the event
