ETH Zurich demonstrated new work on the Unitree G1 humanoid: using contact prediction, the robot learns to climb ladders, scale obstacles, and bypass tricky terrain with only 10 minutes of human training data. Footage shows the robot fluidly mounting concrete steps and walls and squeezing through a narrow opening, highlighting few-shot locomotion skill transfer driven by contact-aware perception.
