Three different arXiv papers are all named LeWAM, and researchers are begging for mercy
burny_tech · x · 2026-10-25
A screenshot shows three unrelated arXiv papers sharing the same name "LeWAM" within weeks: "LeWAM: End-to-End World and Action Modeling with JEPAs" (Fu et al., cs.Robotics, Oct 8), "LeWAM: Latent evolving World Action Model" (Fang et al., cs.CV, Sep 23), and "LeWAM: A JEPA World Action Model with Diffusion-Steering-Based MPC" (Hegde et al., cs.Robotics, Oct 8). The poster's "please make it stop" pokes fun at how the hot world-action-model space is now so crowded that even the acronyms are colliding.
