Kimi coding agent flagged for recursively deleting folders before recreating them
Xianbao_QIAN · x · 2026-10-25
User @XianbaoQIAN reports that Moonshot's Kimi coding agent habitually deletes a folder before creating it, e.g. cd /tmp && rm -rf pp1prefix && mkdir pp1prefix. Fine for tutorials, but dangerous in production — a recursive delete could wipe an important directory.
