Steer AI video with Blender blockouts: Higgsfield's recipe for Seedance 2.5 in 4K
lmoroney · x · 2026-10-25
How do you get an AI video model to hit an exact move? Higgsfield's answer: block the shot out in Blender first. They built rough 3D blockouts (a bee in flight, a man running through shifting worlds), then had Seedance 2.5 render final footage in native 4K, with the prompt simply telling the model to follow the reference.
- The blockout carries timing, path and camera; the model handles the look
- Blocking is an old animation/previs habit — and one of the best ways to steer video models when words get vague
- Practical takeaway: spend an hour in Blender learning to move a camera and a cube along a path; that skill pays off in every AI shot you make after
