Tesla engineer: Cybercab camera tuning done with Grok, coding fixed-function hardware directly
yunta_tsai · x · 2026-10-24
Tesla's Cybercab gains a rearview camera view during rides plus a new quiet mode that darkens the big display at night. Engineer yuntatsai adds a technical detail: the human camera view tuning was optimized with Grok, implementing part of the algorithm by directly programming the fixed-function hardware — no datasheet required.
