Builder turns M5Stack StackChan desk robot into a locally-run Hermes agent
alexcovo_eth · x · 2026-10-24
A developer shows his M5Stack StackChan desk robot running Nous Research's Hermes model locally on a Mac, with xiaozhi-esp32-server in Docker and Gradium Phonon-31m handling voice. He also built a StackChan Agent Builder on Grok Bot that helps users find, build, flash and upgrade ESP32/ESP32-S3 voice-chat gadgets, running flash commands only with user approval.
