Claude Code core team member leaves Anthropic after a year of watching it scale
omarsar0 · x · 2026-10-24
trq212 has left Anthropic after more than a year working on Claude Code, which he says scaled 'larger than I ever imagined.' In his farewell post he affirmed belief in Anthropic's mission and the 'race to the top' idea — that working hard and responsibly can raise the bar for the whole industry. AI educator Elvis Saravia (omarsar0) replied thanking him for his community contributions. Claude Code is one of Anthropic's fastest-growing products, making this a notable departure.
