A screenshot of Claude's model picker appears to show unannounced models: Fable 5.1, Opus 5.5, Sonnet 5.5, Haiku 5.5 in the default list, plus a 'More models' menu listing Opus 5, Opus 4.8/4.7/4.6, Opus 3, Sonnet 5, Sonnet 4.6 and Haiku 4.5. If genuine, it suggests Anthropic is internally testing a new Fable series and multiple Opus 5 tiers — unverified. The poster notes legacy Opus 3 is still selectable.
