Hot take: Gen Z may lose more to AI than Gen Alpha, argues Reddit post
SoftAndWetBubbles_78 · reddit · 2026-10-24
A Reddit poster argues Gen Alpha will grow up AI-native and enter the workforce with AI fluency as second nature, while Gen Z is entering just as AI automates the entry-level tasks traditionally used to build professional experience.
In ten years, employers may choose between pricier Gen Z professionals and cheaper, AI-native Gen Alpha graduates producing comparable work. Millennials and Gen X are relatively insulated mid-term by accumulated experience, networks and domain expertise.
