Claude Code engineer leaves Anthropic after a year of runaway growth

An Anthropic engineer announced his departure after more than a year working on Claude Code, which he says scaled larger than he ever imagined. In his farewell post, he reaffirmed belief in Anthropic's mission, especially the idea of a "race to the top"—working hard and responsibly to raise the bar and inspire better outcomes across the industry.
