Thariq (@trq212), a core developer of Claude Code and Anthropic's longtime public-facing communicator, has announced his departure. In his farewell post, he said he spent over a year at Anthropic working on Claude Code and watched it scale beyond his imagination. He highlighted the company's 'race to the top' philosophy — raising the bar through diligent, responsible work that inspires others — and said he'll carry that spirit forward.
