Vercel launches feedback CLI and MCP tool so AI agents can file bug reports directly
steren · x · 2026-10-24
Vercel shipped a vercel feedback CLI and a submitfeedback MCP tool that let AI agents submit structured feedback straight to Vercel.
- The command accepts structured fields: product, model, harness, task, expected, actual, and type, capturing the gap between expected and actual behavior along with the model and toolchain the agent used
- It supports piping, e.g. cat notes.md | vercel feedback -, so agent session notes can be filed directly
- Use case: when an agent hits unclear deployment errors or missing variable names, it can automatically report reproduction context to Vercel — a new "agent files the bug for you" workflow
