Anthropic engineer @trq212 announced his departure after more than a year working on Claude Code and watching it scale beyond expectations. He says he loved his time at Anthropic and believes deeply in its mission — especially the 'race to the top' idea that working hard and responsibly can raise the bar for everyone. Well-wishes followed from other AI figures.
