Anthropic engineer departs after a year+ scaling Claude Code

Anthropic engineer trq212 announced his departure after more than a year working on Claude Code, saying he watched it "scale larger than I ever imagined."
In his farewell post he expressed deep belief in Anthropic's mission and its "race to the top" philosophy — the idea that working hard and responsibly can raise the bar for the whole industry. Claude Code is one of Anthropic's fastest-growing developer products, making this a notable departure.
