Claude Code engineer departs Anthropic after a year as the tool scaled beyond expectations

trq212 announced their departure from Anthropic after more than a year working on Claude Code, saying it scaled larger than they ever imagined. They expressed deep appreciation for the mission and the idea of a 'race to the top' — raising the bar through hard, responsible work and pushing each other to be better. Former AI engineer aidenybai called it a legendary run.
