Claude Code engineer departs Anthropic after over a year scaling the tool

An engineer who worked on Claude Code for over a year has left Anthropic, describing the experience of watching the tool scale larger than ever imagined. In a farewell post, they expressed deep belief in Anthropic's mission and its "race to the top" ethos — that working hard and responsibly can raise the bar and inspire others to better outcomes.
