AI turns out surprisingly great at drawing Vestaboard pixel art
cramforce · x · 2026-10-24
cramforce shares AI-generated pixel art made for the Vestaboard split-flap display: a dozen designs including a rainbow, beach day, campfire, Fourth of July flag, and Oktoberfest pretzel, all with surprisingly solid color and composition. He calls it the "most unsurprising finding" — constrained grid pixel art is exactly the kind of task AI handles well, and the results can go straight onto the display.
