NVIDIA and David Baker's Nobel-winning lab have open-sourced RFD4-Proteina, a protein structure model that topped rival models in all 4 computational tests. It's already available to try on Hugging Face.
Good news for small labs: state-of-the-art protein folding/design is now accessible without heavy infrastructure, and pairs with NVIDIA's BioNeMo inference runtime for faster serving.
