Cisco's Antares: a security analyst agent that never leaves your laptop
aminkarbasi · x · 2026-10-24
Cisco's DevNet blog launches its Security Loop series with Antares, a local-only security analyst agent targeting the advisory triage tax: a CWE-22 path traversal advisory names a bug class but not where it lives in a 300-file repo. The five-part plan: Antares finds where to look, Foundry proves findings are real, CodeGuard prevents reintroduction, Part 4 runs a controlled experiment on prevention, and Part 5 chains all three into one loop.
