The author noticed OpenAI Dots can finally drive sessions directly on your machine without spawning new Codex sessions — at least they no longer show up as sessions in the Codex app. A screenshot shows Dots using Computer Use permission to access the Granola app on a Mac to fetch transcripts. Notably smoother than the day-1 implementation.
