Zvi's 'The Hackening': experts predict AI-driven internet hostility within 6-12 months
TheZvi · x · 2026-10-24
In his article 'The Hackening', Zvi recounts predictions from a small conference that within 6-12 months advanced AIs and agents will make the internet severely hostile — some worrying 'assume any internet-connected phone is rooted' and urging personal crisis prep for supply, power, water or internet disruptions. The largest incident so far is a PHP flaw letting attackers take over any server running an unpatched PHP version, alongside multiple other hacks. His advice: do basic security hardening and prep now, as cheap insurance.
