LangChain fixed its design agent's AI slop with skills, a design wiki, and guardrails
LangChain · x · 2026-10-24
LangChain's design agent produced every AI slop pattern imaginable—edge-bar cards, labels above every title, dot-grid wallpaper. Their fix: anything measurable becomes a check in code, while judgment lives in skills and a design wiki with per-slop guardrails and the reasoning behind designer notes; anything taught in Slack is saved to memory in the same turn. Prebuilding taste with 115 UI components failed to stop repetition. Side-by-side charts show the branded skill output beats a generic local coding agent on the same prompt.
