Chronos: a Postgres-compatible database where agent changes land only if they pass your policies

A developer unveils Chronos, a Postgres-compatible database designed for agents that write real data, with safety enforced inside the database rather than in prompts. Key mechanics demonstrated end-to-end:
- World fork: the agent gets an instant copy-on-write copy of the DB; production never sees its work, and forking a large DB is as fast as a small one
- Built-in policy: rules like max 500 rows per merge, zero deletes, no touching payments, human-only schema changes, plus merge checks (e.g. no order may lose its customer) evaluated under locks during merge
- Three-way row-level merge: concurrent human edits to the same rows become conflicts, not silent overwrites
- Real interception: an agent's cleanup deleting 412 customer rows violated the no-delete policy and was held in a review queue; the human caught it merging two distinct customers sharing an office email, rejected it, then approved a corrected attempt
- Undo: revert a single merge or roll back everything one agent did since a time, row by row
Technically a Rust engine speaking the Postgres 16 wire protocol, so psql, Prisma and Drizzle connect normally; it passes 83.69% of expected lines on Postgres's own regression suite.
