Users push back on coding-agent weekly limits: resets come too early to use the quota
umeshonai · x · 2026-10-24
User @umeshonai called out Anthropic's Claude Code lead Thibault Sottiaux for resetting the weekly usage limit too early, arguing users should get time to actually use their remaining quota. The attached screenshot shows a ChatGPT Pro 200 plan (£200/month) whose weekly limit — shared across Codex, Work, Workspace Agents, and ChatGPT for Excel — reads "Resets in 6d 23h" with 100% left.
Reset cadence and cross-product quota sharing are becoming a sore point for heavy paying users.
