Liquid AI ships d1.1: decision quality nears d1-ultra at less than half the cost

Liquid AI released d1.1, an upgrade to its decision-making model that gets closer to d1-ultra quality while running faster at $0.02 / 1M input tokens—less than half the cost. Its benchmark chart shows an 8-category average of 66.7 vs 62.5 for d1 and 69.7 for d1-ultra, beating d1-ultra on Tools and agents (72.9) and Robustness (77.5), though still trailing on Safety and policy (67.9 vs 78.1). Available now on Liquid Console, coming soon to OpenRouter and Vercel.
