Kimi Code's official release notes confirm K3.1 Pro is now fully rolled out, alongside a new K3.1 Pro Highspeed variant.
- K3.1 Pro is the first model in the K3.1 series, billed as Moonshot's most capable 3T-class model to date, with a 1M-token context window and significant gains in coding, 3D creation, financial research, and modeling.
- Highspeed delivers the same quality at roughly 2–3x the output speed, at about 2x the quota usage.
- Access: k3.1-pro requires Plus/Moderato or above, with up to 1M context for Allegretto/Pro tiers; k3.1-pro-highspeed requires Pro/Allegretto or above.
- Thinking mode is mandatory on K3.1 Pro (default max); requests with thinking disabled are rejected.
