AI2's LitPivot refines research ideas with dynamic literature retrieval and critique

Allen AI introduces LitPivot, a tool where drafting a research idea and vetting it against literature happen simultaneously: it dynamically retrieves paper clusters relevant to a selected part of your idea and proposes literature-informed critiques. A lab study (n=17) showed higher-rated ideas and stronger understanding of the literature space. Paper on arXiv (2604.02600).
