New French literary prize invites AI-co-written novels with mandatory model disclosure
lmoroney · x · 2026-10-24
France's new Prix Pascal de Littérature IA invites unpublished French fiction (10k–50k words) co-written with AI. Each entry requires a technical dossier naming the model and prompts/agents used, described precisely enough for another author to reuse the process. Entries close end of November; a five-person jury picks ten nominees, winner announced in December with publishing support. The author, a teacher, likes the disclosure requirement and suggests keeping a short process note alongside any AI-assisted draft.
