Dev builds Figma-vs-website visual QA tool on Glimpse API, catches all 5 planted bugs
AndrewDai · x · 2026-10-24
A developer built a visual QA assistant on the public API of Glimpse from Elorian, a new lab from the team behind Google's Gemini and Apple's MM-1. Upload a website screenshot and a Figma export — website on the left, Figma on the right, findings in between — and each finding comes with evidence and suggested fixes.
In testing it caught all five deliberately introduced defects, including missing elements and incorrect colors, plus typography and illustration differences — a use case the Glimpse team says they never previously tested the model on. Glimpse's makers welcomed the community building tools on their public API, teasing more model capabilities coming soon.
