Meta delays business terms blamed for enabling AI news scraping to November 20

Meta is delaying enforcement of new business terms after publishers raised concerns they could let the company freely scrape news sites that use its platforms for AI training, as earlier reported by Fast Company. The terms, originally set to take effect October 30, will now kick in on November 20. Meta spokesperson Daniel Roberts told The Verge the delay is "to allow more time for us to explain to our partners and stakeholders what's changing and what's not."
