CIO survey: 54% of firms deployed AI without any ROI tracking
BenBajarin · x · 2026-10-23
Analyst Ben Bajarin shares fresh CIO/CTO survey results: companies widely deployed AI without proper ROI tracking in place — 54% lack formal ROI measurement, though qualitatively almost all believe the return exists and are now building measurement. Among those tracking properly, 67% see a return in some fashion. The thread responds to Ed Zitron's claim that the AI bubble is '4 years in and 12 months away from ROI'.
