CT-Tox predicts human toxicity from rat data at 0.74 rank agreement vs 0.35 baseline
david_van_dijk · x · 2026-10-23
davidvandijk presents CT-Tox, measuring how much rat liver response data reveals about human cells. Across 26 held-out compounds, CT-Tox achieved 0.74 rank agreement with measured human Hallmark pathway responses versus 0.35 for naively copying rat responses to human orthologs; toxicology modules scored 0.56 vs 0.24. The method substantially improves cross-species toxicity extrapolation.
