4 days and nearly 4 Opus weekly limits: a multiplayer A-10 flight sim built entirely by agents
siimsiim · reddit · 2026-10-23
Starting from an empty repo, a developer built a10canary.com in 4 days using nearly 4 weekly Claude Opus limits: a browser-based multiplayer A-10C flight sim with dogfights, a clickable cockpit, an island built from real elevation data, and live real-world weather and time of day.
How Claude was used
- Full spec first; Claude Code split it into typed module contracts and ran parallel agents with their own tests — 500+ test files now
- No downloaded 3D models: Claude drove headless Blender to build the jet from technical drawings
- All textures are procedural shaders; terrain from elevation data and OpenStreetMap
- Multiplayer server, bots, overflow rooms and deploys were all built and shipped by agents; the author mostly checks structure and rarely reads code
- Tower, crew chief and AWACS radio voices via ElevenLabs
